How I Became a Pet Sitter

My passion for animals and interest in serving others inspired my decision to become a professional pet sitter. I founded Purrs and Paws in 2009, and have been providing the Kemptville, Ontario area with loyal and loving pet sitting services ever since. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends!

My interest in pet sitting stems from having pets as a child, and volunteering and fostering cats and dogs for several years. I was a huge foster failure, and have several of my own pets at home.

I expanded in 2015 and added like minded sitters and dog walkers so that I could continue to serve the people and pets in my town. My goal is, and always has been, to make having pets easy for my clients while still ensuring a great lifestyle for people and pets.

With Covid our services are currently more limited, and I'm back to solo sitting, but I look forward to expanding again as we all recover from the pandemic and it's safe to do so once again.
